Not for most residential work. Large clearing and crane projects may need a 25 percent deposit to reserve the equipment.

Projects over $2,000 can be split into three interest-free payments. Ask your estimator for details.

Estimates are usually within 3 to 5 business days. Scheduled work is typically booked 2 to 4 weeks out in spring and fall, sooner in winter.

Dormant trees heal faster in spring, disease-carrying insects are inactive, frozen ground protects lawns from equipment, and we can see branch structure clearly without leaves.

Yes. Our crews work through most winter conditions. We pause for wind above 25 mph, ice on limbs or extreme cold below about minus 10.

If the tree has lost less than about 30 percent of its canopy and is otherwise structurally sound, treatment is usually effective and costs far less than removal over time.

Oak wilt is a fungal disease spread by sap beetles and through connected roots. Avoid pruning or wounding oaks from April through July, and call us if an oak drops leaves suddenly in summer.

Possibly. Some fungi indicate root or butt decay. Book an assessment so we can sound the trunk and check the root flare.

Yes. We carry general liability and workers compensation, and we are happy to email certificates to you or your HOA before work begins.

We do. We coordinate boulevard tree requests, shoreland and historic district rules, and utility locates before stump grinding.

We never cut near energized lines. We coordinate with Xcel Energy for line clearance and handle the rest of the tree once lines are safe.

Monthly plans can be cancelled any time with 30 days notice. Annual plans are billed once and can be refunded pro rata for unused visits.

Plans include inspections, pruning hours and health treatments by tier, plus member discounts on removals and any other work.

We will suggest the right tier or add trees at a small per-tree rate. No surprise charges.
