How we approach stump grinding
A leftover stump is a trip hazard, a mower obstacle and a home for carpenter ants. Our compact grinders fit through standard gates and grind stumps 8 to 12 inches below grade, deeper when you plan to replant in the same spot.
We call in utility locates before every grind, protect nearby siding and windows with shields, and either leave the grindings as mulch or haul them away and backfill with screened topsoil.

The process, step by step

We rake grindings, haul if requested and backfill so the area is level.
